In one community, there was a family that was so poor that they couldn’t provide for their own basic needs. They didn’t have a latrine, or toilet, as many others have in the area. After the first TCT Training, the youth in the church approached this family with the idea of providing a toilet.

The people in the community were greatly surprised to see the church youth helping this family with love and compassion. The youth didn’t ask any help, but unexpectedly, many others from the community came forward to join in when they saw the youth working.

The family itself was moved by the Act of Love. It opened a door of relationship. The family began to share their life struggles, and the church youth were able to share from Scripture about Jesus’ love for them, God’s goodness and His promises. The family now often attends worship services.
