We are a small team with huge passion, hailing from Asia, Africa, Oceania, Europe, and North America. The service team and local ministry leaders serve each other as co-laborers with a common goal—to make visible God’s power to transform the lives of vulnerable people.

Some staff travel much of the year. Others of us mostly stay home. The majority of us, right up to the Executive Director, raise some or all of our own salary. We all do what we do because we feel a strong call to this work. It’s more than a job, it’s our way of serving the God we love.

Being a virtual office with co-workers spread around the world has its highs and lows. It can get lonely, especially for those who love working face-to-face with a team. And it requires each of us to be a self-starter, to manage our time and priorities on our own, and to practice great online communication skills. On the other hand, we love the flexibility of setting our own hours and working from wherever we choose. We utilize the best tools we can find to stay in close connection with our virtual teams. And we practice hospitality—hosting one another when we travel and building relationships strong enough to stretch across oceans. We actually like each other—we pray for each other, get to know each other’s families, and pitch in during times of crisis and illness. It’s a supportive, trusting environment.
